A lot of people are boycotting this game because its not Dark Souls 4. I’m glad its more like Ninja Gaiden than Souls.

I’m just looking for a great story driven game with awesome mechanics and swordplay so this is right up my alley

Honestly not every Fromsoftware don’t need to be a Souls game because fromsoftware have plenty of interesting classic ips and brilliant ideas that need to be explore. Dark Souls 3 marks an end to a era well a hiatus for that series including Bloodborne in which the head did stated he wasn’t interested of making a sequel to Bloodborne or another souls game after 3 now and wamts explore other ips. This looks promising and not only that Activision finally working with Fromsoftware again since Tenchu 2 and 3 and also doing something besides 😴😪 Cod and Destiny. And I’m really glad its having some inspiration from the souls series, kinda Tenchu like, and Zelda. The same could be said with Ninja Gaiden reboot from 2004 that allows to explore the world and have some progression like Zelda.

Still not sure how much of departure from the souls series it is. I really wanted from software to make a completely different genre of game because i am starting to get tired of the souls formula.

I feel like the no leveling up is a good way to go
it’ll be way harder. By leveling up stats you can grind and become overpowered and then the excitement is gone. You get careless

More excited for Ghost of Tsushima even though one you are a ninja and the other you’re a samurai acting like a ninja. I just like the more real and brutal combat Ghost of Tsushima is offering but this might be fromsofts best game ever
