I highly doubt FromSoft will make the protagonist compelling enough to justify a lack of character customization. It just doesn’t seem like their style to focus on the player rather than the world. As much as combat has changed the trailer and story details sound the same narratively speaking.

I’m hoping we can still customize our appearance as far as clothing goes, but if not that’s fine. Sekiro looks badass enough for me to be pretty okay with that being the look we’re stuck with.

And considering how loveable and interesting Fromsoft characters are, being able to play as and learn about one will be fucking amazing.

Also, how’s Patches gonna screw us over this time I wonder?

I have the feeling that you’re not gonna be able to custumise because Activision wants to sell you skins. (Please don’t let this be true FromSoftware)

Everything I’ve heard about this game so far have been amazing very welcome changes. I’m confident that every decision made by Miyazaki is going to be an excellent one. Also if the rumors that Kentaro Miura is lending a hand on this game are true it’s going to be as revolutionary and genre defining as the past Souls games, maybe even more so.

No other weapons except the katana…..guess I’m not going to like this game much, that’s a shame, not saying it’s gonna be bad, but I even got bored of God of War very quickly, getting roped into the same thing seems very uninspired with the tech we have for these games

Got strong Nioh vibes – from postrure, sword stances and skills to that women monk design (remeber Ogress with red flowers arena). Somehow funny – Nioh is a middle step between Souls and Sekiro and got so much hate and bad reviews and still essentially predicted Sekiro in so many details.

I feel like instead of traditional leveling like normally in the souls series Sekiro will have a skill tree system more close to Borderlands in which you can go through different skill lines which give you different abilities and modifications for your prostetic arm

Idk man, it just seems like they’re taking away things that’ll make the game better. Feels like a lot of potential is being thrown away, at least that’s what I think. Kind of disappointing.
