The Dark Souls community fucking sucks. I’ve been a hardcore gamer for 21 years. Dark Souls Remastered? Pfft! More like “Dark Bead Remastered” that’s what i come across the most in this trash game. I mean the game isn’t trash, its the fucking cheesy community that is trash. 1 more year and the Dark Souls community will be no more I reckon. I fucking absolutely love the Dark Souls games. All of them! But the PvP sucks smelly ass because of it’s cheesy fanbase. I’m not a part of this crappy community because I’m not a cheesy player that uses Tranquil Walk of Peace and Dark Bead. Everytime i invade someone using Dark Bead, i Black Crystal out or if i get invaded by a noob using Dark Bead, i use the Fog Ring and hide because i do not want to get 1 shot by a kid while im trying to get through the PvE. It fucking sucks. Unfortunately, most of the time i come across Dark Bead users. Because all you do is press 1 button to cast Dark Bead and the opponent is dead in one hit. Wow kid, your so good at this game. It takes a lot of skill to press 1 singular button to 1 shot someone. I love Being invaded on Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3. I wait around just to get invaded in those games. But in Dark Souls Remastered, more than 50% of the player base is using the 1 shot Dark Bead. I hate being invaded in Dark Souls Remastered.

So like no customization at all and no online play either well that’s a shame it’s not gonna be as fun but it still looks cool

The lack of character customization takes away the personal investment I had in previous From games. That was one of my main attractions to their games. No multiplayer or stat investment sounds like a welcome change(although I’d really love co-op) but having to be this generic protagonist with one weapon and outfit the entire game is quite disheartening. What a bummer.

Healing IS in the game, people that saw the demo confirmed there are healing items.

This shows us that the player wont get 1 shot if they lose all their posture. They describe depleting an enemies posture as letting you get off a “deadly finisher” but evidently it’s going to be just a visceral attack. Also death penalties could be permanently losing a portion of your currency or something like that.
